Nadi Pariksha is the cornerstone of classical Ayurvedic diagnostics (Ashtasthana Pariksha). By placing three fingers over the radial artery at the wrist, a trained Vaidya perceives subtle vibrational waveforms corresponding to Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. It reveals deep-seated tissue imbalances (Dhatugata Dosha), sub-clinical toxicity (Ama), and organ stress long before routine diagnostic markers reflect changes.
1. Pre-Examination Preparation: Best conducted in the morning or minimum 2.5 hours after food, avoiding caffeine or strenuous exertion. 2. Radial Pulse Assessment: The physician palpates the pulse at superficial, intermediate, and deep levels using index (Vata), middle (Pitta), and ring (Kapha) fingertips. 3. Systemic Correlation: Pulse findings are correlated with tongue examination, physical assessment, and symptoms to formulate a tailored treatment protocol.
Comprehensive diagnostic assessment for chronic joint pain, sciatica, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue, and preventative health mapping.
Every multi-session protocol at Karmanya begins with a formal clinical diagnosis and pulse assessment by our BAMS physicians to confirm suitability.
